Throughout the week ICT fire and Rescue joined the awareness campaign by providing a fire engine and touring fire disaster-prone areas to create awareness. They visited Mukuru slums with the aim of reaching more people and educating them.

Throughout the week ICT Fire& Rescue had its tent at Kenyatta National Hospital to enlighten the public more on the
dangers of fire and appropriate counter-measures. ICT has gone a step further to help mitigate this fire risk by creating a state of the art facility along Thika-Garissa highway to offer professional firefighting training.
ICT Fire and Rescue is one of its kind privately owned company which has taken a special interest in Fire Disaster management in terms of Fire risk management, fire deterrence through effective training, installation of firefighting systems and provision of 24 hrs fire engine services. ICT has also put up a college to train firefighting professionals, paramedics, disaster managers, community social workers among other courses.

Fire safety week was a success for ICT and other stakeholders as we managed to reach many people and educate them as well as create networks which can be relied on in case of emergencies like fire. Safety begins with you.
